The Office of the Provost has established a partnership with the SCCPSS Superintendent's office as well the principles within the Chatham public school system to provide on-site courses where access to our Armstrong campus location would be difficult (due to lack of transportation) or awareness of DE as a viable option (lack of partnership/communication).

Evaluating major selection and change of major protocols (Georgia Institute of Technology-2023)

Georgia Tech continues its efforts to enhance academic advising through a renewed focus on major selection protocols and how students select and change majors. Georgia Tech students declare a major before admission, and academic advising is primarily major specific. Since undecided/general studies students do not exist on campus, major selection and major change protocols significantly impact the student experience.

Analyzing degree complexity and its impact on degree completion (Georgia Institute of Technology-2023)

Georgia Tech’s curricular analytics efforts are ongoing to study degree programs, identify majors with high program complexity, and develop adjustments designed to lower complexity and accelerate time to degree completion.

The curricular analytics analysis aligns to the Expand Access focus area of the ISP and overlaps with our examination of equity in student success metrics described in Activity 2.
